The modalities guiding my practice are ones I have personally found valuable in my own ongoing journey toward self-understanding, emotional regulation, and clarity. Everything I guide clients through, I have done or continue to do myself. At the heart of my approach is a collaborative stance of humility — supporting clients in developing a deeper, more intimate relationship with themselves as I do the same. The parallel process of the therapeutic dynamic is something I whole heartedly embrace as humans navigating the complexities of life in tandem.
Over the past decade of training and practice, I have studied relationship-oriented counseling, behavioral, parent-child interventions, yoga, mindfulness, and somatic, psychodynamic (body-oriented) approaches. My clinical background spans crisis intervention, child welfare, in-home settings, and the intersection of mental health and legal systems. Prior to counseling, I worked as a childcare provider and yoga/movement teacher, and have taught courses at the graduate level across several Seattle-area counseling programs.
Currently, I work with couples, individuals, supervisees, and other licensed professionals in my role as a WA State Approved Clinical Supervisor. In 2025, I completed my doctorate from Antioch University's Counselor Education and Supervision program, with dissertation research focused on accessibility in higher education. My theoretical framework integrates intersectional feminism and liberation psychology, attachment and developmental neuroscience, EMDR, and yoga/movement/mindfulness.
I enjoy working with neurodivergent, highly sensitive, spiritual, intellectualized, open minded individuals and relational systems. Clients and supervisees describe me as thoughtful, responsive, collaborative, curious, and nonjudgmental. On a personal level, I am a highly sensitive, spiritual being. I am a mother of two young children, partner, daughter, sister, and friend. I like to practice yoga, paint/doodle (all website art is my own), write, dance, hike/camp, cook, embrace silence, and connect with loved ones.
